The LSW will work collaboratively with agency staff to ensure quality care, timely documentation, and compliance with applicable behavioral health and Medicaid standards.</p><p>This position is structured as an independent contractor role and is not considered an employee position.</p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><h3>Clinical Services</h3><ul><li> Provide individual supportive counseling and therapeutic interventions to clients. </li><li> Assist clients with goal setting, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development. </li><li> Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed. </li><li> Monitor client progress and communicate clinical concerns appropriately. </li></ul><h3>Documentation & Progress Notes</h3><ul><li> Assist staff in developing, reviewing, and improving progress notes for quality and compliance. </li><li> Complete required documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable Medicaid and behavioral health standards. </li><li> Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes. </li><li> Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. </li></ul><h3>Client Onboarding & Intake Support</h3><ul><li> Assist with onboarding and orientation of new clients into services. </li><li> Support intake and assessment processes as assigned. </li><li> Help gather and organize required client documentation. </li><li> Coordinate with agency staff to ensure continuity of care and smooth service transitions. </li></ul><h3>Collaboration & Administrative Support</h3><ul><li> Attend required meetings, supervision sessions, and trainings as requested. </li><li> Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff regarding client needs and service delivery. </li><li> Provide support during crisis situations when necessary. </li><li> Perform additional duties related to behavioral health support services as assigned. </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li> Current Ohio Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in good standing. </li><li> Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university. </li><li> Experience in behavioral health, community mental health, youth services, or substance use services preferred. </li><li> Knowledge of Medicaid documentation standards and behavioral health compliance preferred. </li><li> Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. </li><li> Ability to work independently and professionally within a team environment. </li><li> Basic proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems. </li></ul><h2>Schedule & Work Expectations</h2><ul><li> Part-time hours based on agency needs and mutually agreed-upon schedule. </li><li> Position requires onsite presence for client sessions, meetings, and onboarding activities. </li><li> Contractor is expected to maintain professional liability insurance if required by law or agency policy. </li></ul><h2>Independent Contractor Statement</h2><p>This position is an independent contractor role and does not constitute employment with the agency.
