CloudFit is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator  to support a fast-paced Talent Acquisition function in Lynchburg, VA. This opportunity is  structured as an onsite 1099 contractor role with the potential to transition into a full-time  employee position based on business needs, performance, and organizational alignment. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless candidate and hiring manager  experience while supporting recruiting operations, scheduling, candidate  communications, and internal hiring initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a highvolume environment, communicates professionally, manages competing priorities  effectively, and brings strong attention to detail to every interaction.  Key Responsibilities Recruiting Coordination & Scheduling<ul><li>Coordinate interviews across multiple teams and time zones </li><li>Manage onsite and virtual interview logistics </li><li>Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams to support an efficient interview process </li><li>Prepare interview agendas, candidate packets, and related materials </li><li>Maintain recruiting calendars and interview process flow </li></ul>Candidate Experience & Communications<ul><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process </li><li>Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming candidate experience </li><li>Manage interview confirmations, follow-ups, and status updates </li><li>Coordinate candidate travel arrangements when applicable </li></ul>Recruiting Operations<ul><li>Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) records and candidate data </li><li>Support job posting management across recruiting platforms </li><li>Monitor and manage the shared careers inbox, ensuring timely and professional candidate communication </li><li>Assist with offer coordination, onboarding logistics, and pre-employment activities </li><li>Support recruiting metrics, reporting, and data processing efforts </li><li>Maintain recruiting documentation, interview scorecards, and hiring materials </li></ul>Internal Referral Program & Talent Initiatives<ul><li>Manage and track internal employee referrals throughout the hiring lifecycle </li><li>Support internal recruiting campaigns and referral initiatives </li><li>Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, internship coordination, and employer branding efforts </li><li>Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Engineering teams on hiring initiatives and process improvements </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1–3 years of recruiting coordination, HR coordination, administrative, or related experience </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Strong customer service and relationship-building skills </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools </li><li>Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain; U.S. Citizenship required</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience supporting technical or high-volume recruiting environments </li><li>Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably JazzHR </li><li>Experience with data entry, reporting, or recruiting analytics </li><li>Familiarity with recruiting operations and candidate experience best practices </li></ul>Contract Engagement Details<ul><li>1099 independent contractor opportunity </li><li>Approximately 35–40 hours per week </li><li>Contractor is responsible for individual taxes, insurance, and applicable business expenses </li><li>No employer-sponsored benefits provided during the contract period </li><li>Opportunity for future full-time conversion based on business needs and performance </li></ul>Contract Compensation: $28–$36/hour depending on experience, qualifications, and  operational alignment.Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required)  *CloudFit participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm you are authorized to work in the U.S.Don’t meet every single requirement?
