A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field -OR- non-engineering college graduates and non-degreed candidates must possess a Certification of Engineer-Intern as issued by the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Acting as an inspector by inspecting, verifying, measuring, and documenting the work performed by private Contractors, Interpreting the plans and specifications that relate to the project, and, Sampling and testing construction materials.
