Maintenance includes but not limited to the following equipment: miners, shuttle cars, feeder breakers, roof bolters, scoop cars, diesel and electric ram cars, water and dewatering pump systems, belt drives, conveyor systems, ventilation fans, hoists and escape capsules, electrical systems, power distribution systems, communications and safety monitoring systems, process control, etc. This position is defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles as a heavy job category and must be able to lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, pry, work on/near moving equipment and perform any job specific activity as required by job assignment.
