Assistant Controller – Lost Pines ToyotaWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of a busy automotive dealership. This role works closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient accounting processes across all departments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in overseeing daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable</li><li>Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports</li><li>Reconcile schedules, accounts, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness</li><li>Review and process vehicle deals for proper accounting treatment and compliance</li><li>Monitor internal controls and assist in implementing process improvements</li><li>Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records and payments</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures</li><li>Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations</li><li>Collaborate with department managers to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes</li><li>Provide support during audits and assist with required documentation</li></ul>RequirementsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
