Able to provide coverage, as needed, on all shifts; supervises the shift all operations of the laboratory including planning, staffing, organizing and delineating all duties and responsibilities of all testing and support personnel for his/her shift, performance evaluations/ competency assessment, performance management, problem solving, equipment maintenance, Quality Control and review, orientation/inservice, and various other projects that is assigned. Always perform and appropriately document calibration, quality control, and preventative maintenance procedures to validate the accuracy and precision of instruments or testing protocols.
