<p style="margin-bottom:0in"><strong>GFT</strong> is seeking a <strong>Proposal Specialist II</strong> to join our <strong>BD&M team </strong>in the <strong>Midwest.</strong> In this role, you will develop clear, persuasive, and compliant proposals that support business development for our Transportation and Construction Services teams. You’ll play a key role in helping us win meaningful infrastructure projects that shape communities. The support of this amazing team of professionals is the backbone of our ability to deliver infrastructure consulting and design services.  </p><p style="margin-bottom:0in"> </p><p style="margin-bottom:0in">As a Proposal Specialist II, you’ll be a critical contributor within this ecosystem, partnering with technical experts, business developers, and creatives to bring winning pursuits to life.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0in"> </p><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the coordination of proposal kick-offs and color reviews, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal standards.</li><li>Capture and communicate meeting notes, action items, and review feedback to keep teams aligned and accountable.</li><li>Analyze advertisements, SOQs, and RFPs to develop compliance matrices, outlines, and clear action plans for pursuit teams.</li><li>Drive proposal schedules and proactively follow up with technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality content development.</li><li>Write and refine compelling content, including qualifications, cover letters, and executive summaries, incorporating win themes and client-focused messaging.</li><li>Coordinate resources across multidisciplinary teams, including technical staff, subconsultants, graphics, and corporate partners (legal, HR, finance).</li><li>Develop and manage proposal production schedules in collaboration with the Proposal Manager.</li><li>Ensure quality and consistency by reviewing deliverables for compliance, completeness, and adherence to best practices.</li><li>Edit and elevate technical content for clarity, accuracy, and impact.</li><li>Incorporate feedback from review cycles and ensure final deliverables reflect all required updates.</li><li>Maintain accurate proposal data and milestones within CRM systems.</li><li>Support interview preparation and materials, as needed, with guidance from leadership.</li><li>Partner with graphic designers to create visually compelling proposals and presentations.</li></ul>:
<div><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><strong>What you will bring to our firm:</strong></p><ul><li>A 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or applicable field is required.</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0in"><strong>Training, Skills, Knowledge, and/or experience: </strong></p><ul><li>2-5 years of experience with RFP responses and proposal writing. </li><li>Familiarity with architectural, engineering, design, and/or construction management services.</li><li>Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.</li></ul></div><div>The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000.
