This role partners closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create effective, high-quality training aligned with adult learning principles and Lam’s branding standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions using Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, and Camtasia</li><li>Collaborate with SMEs to understand training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions</li><li>Lead the design and implementation of adult learning experiences that address skill gaps</li><li>Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and Lam branding standards</li><li>Manage projects, including scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication</li><li>Utilize a variety of learning modalities and technologies to create effective training content</li><li>Iterate on designs based on feedback and evolving business needs</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development</li><li>Proven experience with Articulate Storyline 360, Rise, and Camtasia</li><li>Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks</li><li>Experience managing projects, including scope and schedule</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially PowerPoint</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with global stakeholders</li><li>Ability to design creative, learner-focused solutions in a collaborative environment</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working in technical or engineering-driven environments</li><li>Familiarity with multiple learning technologies and delivery modalities</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating eLearning design and development work</li></ul>

The Senior Instructional Designer partners with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to assess learning needs, design curricula, and deliver training that enhances knowledge, skills, and competencies across the workforce.Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Training & Development, related field or equivalent experience • 5 years of experience in designing self-paced, instructor-led, blended learning, video, and e-Learning training programs • U.S. Citizen • Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation • Experience leading large scale projects involving multiple stakeholders • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise, or Camtasia • Familiarity with adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick) Preferred: • Master's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Training & Development or related field • Experience using multimedia/graphics software • Experience in a healthcare or customer service environment • Knowledge of or experience with military culture is strongly preferredKey Responsibilities • Conducts need assessments and performance analyses to identify training gaps. • Designs and develops instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, blended learning programs, and job aids. • Manage large-scale projects, including cross-functional collaboration with Human Capital, IT, and operational teams. • Leverages learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate) to build scalable training solutions. • Ensures training content aligns with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. • Conducts train-the-trainer sessions and coaching trainers to deliver high-quality learning experiences. • Evaluates training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and data analysis, and recommend improvements. • Leads projects, mentoring junior instructional designers, and contributing to the overall learning strategy of the organization.Competencies Coaching / Training / Mentoring: Actively foster actions required for desired business outcomes through ongoing constructive feedback. Our Course Developers convert service procedures into storyboards, which guide the VR designers with written and graphic instructions to create the VR courses. Who We Are Looking ForYou have a technical background, know how to use hand tools, and can follow written work instructions. Maybe you've worked in manufacturing or R&D and have performed assembly work or have worked as a test technician. You are familiar with mechanical drawings and schematics. You could also be a hardware trainer with experience working on/teaching semiconductor capital equipment.
