The DOCI is a member of the school leadership team. </p><table><tbody><tr><td><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p></td></tr></tbody></table><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in education or related field; master's degree preferred</li><li>Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teacher licenses or eligibility</li><li>Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction administration licensure preferred, not required, or eligibility for such licensure.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience required, minimum of 1 year in a part-time or full-time instructional leadership role preferred  </li><li>Proven track record of improving student outcomes through data-driven leadership.</li><li>Deep knowledge of standards-based instruction, assessment, and adult Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead the implementation of high-quality instruction aligned to Carmen's Arc of the Year framework.</li><li>Partner with the Principal and Network Teaching & Learning Team to plan and facilitate professional development and collaborative planning. </li><li>Partner with Principal to co-lead PD, both campus and network-based, and data-driven reteach cycles.</li><li>Actively participate in weekly data meetings. </li><li>Ensure curriculum alignment, pacing, and fidelity to Carmen's adopted high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).</li><li>Model strong instructional coaching through real-time feedback, co-planning, and practice clinics.</li><li>Responsible for network leadership of course taught including pacing calendar, materials, co-planning with collaboration partner(s). </li></ul><p/><p>Teacher Development</p><ul><li>Conduct weekly 1:1s and joint walkthroughs to calibrate coaching, feedback, and data use.</li><li>Conduct frequent classroom observations and provide actionable, high-impact feedback and action steps. </li><li>Utilize the Grow coaching platform, ensuring their teachers receive weekly observation, feedback, and measurable action steps.</li><li>Manage, coach, and develop 8-10 teachers and/or teacher leaders toward meeting their performance and development goals. </li><li>Identify emerging teacher leaders to sustain a strong leadership pipeline.</li><li>Collaborate with the Principal to ensure performance management processes are implemented with consistency and clarity.</li><li>Support the Principal with hiring and onboarding of instructional staff. </li></ul><p/><p>Data-Driven Improvement</p><ul><li>Lead analysis of student academic data to identify trends and drive improvement.</li><li>Support the RTI-A system, ensuring effective identification, progress monitoring, and intervention for students performing below grade level. </li><li>Monitor student on-track metrics and lead planning to address gaps.</li><li>Partner with teachers to ensure consistent, meaningful use of data for planning and differentiation.</li><li>Manage academic dashboards and progress-monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.</li><li>Communicate and celebrate progress to staff, students, and families through clear, motivating messaging.<br/><br/></li></ul><p>Academic Systems</p><ul><li>Implement academic systems that enable strong teaching and learning—gradebooks, intervention, assessment cycles, and more. </li><li>Support the Assistant Principal of Operations to ensure testing, coverage, and scheduling logistics support instruction.</li><li>Collaborate with the Principal to align academic and cultural systems that promote student ownership and success.</li><li>Collaborate with the Principal to ensure accommodations, scaffolding, co-planning, etc. are happening with fidelity. <br/><br/></li></ul><p>Culture & Mission Alignment</p><ul><li>In collaboration with the School Leadership Team, execute all school duties and responsibilities in alignment with the Carmen vision, mission, and goals. </li><li>Model and cultivate Carmen's values of empathy, belief, and growth in every interaction.</li><li>Foster a reflective, feedback-driven staff culture grounded in equity, excellence, and belonging.</li><li>Build trusting relationships with students, families, and
