RESPONSIBILITIES The Technical Instructor/Course Developer is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining technical curriculum that supports integrated product support activities across the product lifecycle. Training content may cover areas such as electronics, welding, equipment operation, system maintenance, or other specialized technical subjects. The instructor uses computer‑based tools to organize and develop curriculum, break down complex topics into structured learning modules, create supporting graphics, and integrate materials into instructor‑led, computer‑based, simulator‑based, or interactive courses.<ul><li>In addition to curriculum development, the instructor delivers short technical courses to maintain instructional proficiency, evaluate training effectiveness, and support the introduction of new techniques or technologies. Duties include incorporating updated content into existing courses, developing examples and application scenarios, maintaining professional classroom practices, and applying alternative teaching methods to sustain engagement and comprehension.</li><li>The role also supports quality assurance and continuous improvement by conducting test analysis, revising assessment items, and ensuring training materials remain aligned with evolving operational requirements, regulatory expectations, and mission needs. The instructor contributes to early identification of performance gaps and helps ensure personnel are prepared to meet technical and operational demands across diverse environments.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>At least 1 year of general experience in technical instruction, curriculum development, or related training support activities.</li><li>Ability to develop, revise, and maintain technical curriculum across multiple subject areas, including electronics, mechanical systems, or other specialized technical fields.</li><li>Experience using computer‑based tools to structure curriculum, create graphics, and organize instructional materials into clear, modular learning units.</li><li>Capability to deliver instructor‑led or computer‑based training in accordance with approved curriculum, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and learner engagement.</li><li>Familiarity with developing alternative teaching techniques, scenarios, and examples to support diverse learning needs and maintain student motivation.</li><li>Ability to conduct test analysis, revise assessment items, and support continuous improvement of training materials.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage course materials, and support evolving training requirements.</li><li>Adaptability to changing mission needs, new technologies, and updated operational or regulatory requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position. </li></ul>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>A High school diploma, vocational school certificate, or GED (minimum).</li></ul>BenefitsJoin PROSYNC and enjoy our great benefits! volunteers, donors, and program recipients across US Ministries and International Ministries </li><li class="DutiesSubpointCxSpMiddle">Allocate resources to individual projects while monitoring spending and timelines </li><li class="DutiesSubpointCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom:11px">Collaborate with vendors on product and resource development including specifications, standards, sampling, experience required</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Experience developing programs, training resources, curriculum, or ministry program materials required</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences including staff, volunteers, vendors, and ministry partners</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Experience managing vendors, contracts and external service providers preferred</li><li class="BulletedList" style="margin-bottom:4px">Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical tools, training, and resources for field implementation</li><li Requirements:</div>This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting. The employee must be able to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and other standard office equipment, communicate clearly in person and over the phone, and occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach to access files and supplies. The role may also require occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds. Work is performed in a professional office setting with occasional movement throughout the facility. The environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level, with standard lighting and temperature conditions. Employees are expected to maintain safety and ergonomic awareness while performing all tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Compensation: $67,000 - $75,000 per year. This is a hybrid position working in the Agoura Hills office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday and Friday are remote workdays.
