Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking an  Instructional/e-Learning Designer. The Instructional/e-Learning Designer responsibilities include, but are not limited too: <ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Collaborate with Instructional Designers and AV Instructors to conduct needs assessments and strategic e-learning assessments. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Interview subject matter experts or conduct other research to develop instructional e-Learning content.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Present and make recommendations regarding e-Learning course design, technology, and instruction delivery options.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Provide analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, and courseware standards and obtain client approval.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Develop e-Learning instructional materials and products () for online courses for adult learners on a government site.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Design instructional aids for stand-alone, or online use.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Assess effectiveness and efficiency of e-Learning instruction according to ease of instructional technology use and student learning, knowledge transfer, and satisfaction. Review student feedback surveys and develop and implement course improvements to address feedback.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Review existing instructor-led curriculum materials and recommend content to be transitioned to a blended-learning delivery method.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Plan, design, develop, and implement online courses and training videos for hosting on the customer network or a Learning Management System (LMS).</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Train and mentor instructor staff on e-Learning instructional strategies and methodologies, course delivery techniques, and assessment validation.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Review, maintain and update training and curriculum development e-Learning SOPs.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years of experience with HS Diploma</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Experience or military/eLearning development training experience.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Must have active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and PSD access.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Must be a US Citizen</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Knowledge of the ADDIE (or SAM or SAT) model instructional design methodology.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Demonstrated experience using one or more course authoring tools (such as Adobe Captivate, Premier Elements, TechSmith Camtasia, Articulate, etc.)</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently. Be able to collaborate with teammates, government officials and stakeholders. </li></ul>

Target Salary Range:
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

The LMS supports training across all mission critical areas, and you will be responsible for designing and applying appropriate workflows and business processes to ensure that required training data is captured and maintained in accordance with applicable standards and FTC business requirements. You will coordinate LMS development and operations adhering to FTC's technology standards and processes and serve as the designated security officer (DSO) for the application. What does a typical day look like for the Learning Management Systems Administrator?You will be responsible for:<ul><li>LMS Operations and Maintenance:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations of the LMS, ensuring functionality, reliability, and accessibility for users.</li><li>Configure system settings, permissions, roles, and hierarchies to meet organizational needs.</li><li>Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the LMS platform.</li><li>Primary point of contact for LMS daily operations and end-user support. </li><li>Maintains and monitors system performance.</li><li>Partner with the team, instructors, and vendors to ensure optimal use of the LMS. </li><li>Identify process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and enhancements. </li><li>Monitor monthly releases for upcoming system changes and deployments. </li></ul></li><li>User Management:<ul><li>Create, update, and deactivate user accounts as necessary.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot user access issues, ensuring timely resolution.</li><li>Provide guidance and technical support to end-users, instructors, and course designers.</li><li>Generate and analyze user activity reports to identify engagement trends or system issues.</li><li>Create and manage user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts.</li><li>Manages course enrollment including progress tracking.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li> Course Management:<ul><li> Publish and archive online or blended learning solutions, assign training curricula, and add and delete resources.</li><li>Manage the course asset library.</li><li>Populate course information and assign learners.</li><li>Develop and update standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning information; generate standard and custom reports.</li><li>Analyze reporting data and recommend strategic direction to Chief Learning Officer, technical managers, or others, as appropriate.</li><li>Create and manage the overall course structure and set up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer.</li><li>Manage tracking of course revisions and history.</li><li>Build online assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses.</li><li>Manage relationship with third party vendors and facilitate the successful linkage of courses to FTC's LMS.</li><li>Assign and manage learning paths, certifications, and compliance training.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Troubleshooting:<ul><li>Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality and software systems.</li><li>Serve as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.</li><li>Work with the instructional technologist and instructional designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing the LMS and course content.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Reporting and Analytics:<ul><li>Develop and generate custom reports on user progress, course completion, and compliance.</li><li>Provide data insights to support organizational learning strategies.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Documentation and Training:<ul><li>Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides for the LMS.</li><li>Conduct training sessions for users, administrators, and course creators on LMS functionality.</li><li>Document system changes, configurations, and integrations for reference.</li></ul></li></ul>What qualifications do you look for?You might be the systems administrator we're looking for if you have:<ul><li>Certification as a Cornerstone Administrator. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cornerstone LMS administrator working within the government sector. </li><li>Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems.</li><li>The ability with course design and development.</li><li>The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.</li><li>The ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors.</li><li>Customer service skills and a responsive attitude.</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman's terms.</li></ul> What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?We offer outstanding benefits including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, as well as paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
