EDUCATION:  <ul><li>MA/MS Special Education permanent certification special education</li><li>5 years’ experience with students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder required.  NYS Birth to 2 years old certification required</li><li>School Building Leader Certificate/SAS required. </li></ul>EXPERIENCE ANDSPECIAL SKILLS: <ul><li>Must be trained in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.   </li><li>Familiar with New York State Education Department Standards for Learning and Alternate Assessment protocol.</li><li>Must have experience with Creative Curriculum and Common Core for Preschool.  </li><li>Must have experience in supervision of special needs preschool children in integrated and self-contained classrooms.  </li><li>Must be personable and able to communicate with families and local school district representatives.</li></ul>Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students.
