Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum 2 years RN experience required - 1-Year Minimum in-specialty experience required - Cerner experience required - MS/Tele, Telemetry and ER Holding Experience Preferred - IV Therapy/Phlebotomy skills such as Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral line care/management, and Starting IV - Medications knowledge: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac Drips - no titration - Neurological/Psychiatric experience: CVA, Seizure disorders, Substance withdrawal - Respiratory/Thoracic skills: External CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Oxygen Face Masks, Portable Oxygen Tank; Non-invasive airway management; Care of ventilated patients & tracheostomy management (preferred) **Required Certifications:** - BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be through the American Heart Association) - CPI **Licensure:** - WV or Compact RN License required; can submit with pending RN license but must have active WV/Compact RN license in hand to submit **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience - Community Hospital Experience **Other Requirements:** - Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required - SSN and DOB required at time of submittal - BLS; ACLS; PALS; CPI must be scheduled/obtained >1 week before start - Flu Shot required with medical exemptions only, from October 1st - March 31st - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility.
