Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to designing, installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, troubleshooting, testing, upgrading and decommissioning of network switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryptors, physical cabling, protected distribution systems (PDS), data center planning & racking, identity services engine, and software defined networking. Coordinating with fellow network engineers, program managers, information technology staff, information assurance staff, and program engineers are an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying classified network infrastructure.
