Performs a variety of daily clerical and administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering and directing incoming telephone calls, operating computer software, data entry, creating and managing records, facilitating letters and other documents and correspondence as required. Under general supervision by the Building/Codes Administrator, the purpose of this position is to process building permit applications and related documents; provide information, customer assistance, and explain City codes and policies to citizens and applicants.
