What You Will Bring to the Team: 2+ years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or a related quantitative field (industry, academia, or both) 2+ years of experience using SQL and Python and/or R to query, analyze, and manipulate data 2+ years of experience building data models, using more advanced analytics methods, statistical modeling, and/or data processing Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present information and analysis results effectively A demonstrated ability to independently solve difficult problems and deliver high quality results to senior stakeholders A willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success, ideally in a startup environment A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback. You will collaborate with data, product & engineering to improve the effectiveness of Garner's member facing product - e.g., answering questions like, "what features of our product drive engagement?", "What is the best time of day and channel to outreach to members?", or "What data concepts do we need to build out to improve our understanding of what drives someone to engage with Garner?"
