Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field Ten (10) years of experience in database administration, database management, data administration, or a related information technology field Strong knowledge of database administration principles, technologies, and best practices Knowledge of database architecture, design, performance optimization, and lifecycle management Knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues Ability to analyze system requirements and implement effective database solutions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and lead technical efforts Proficiency with database management tools and related technologies Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required. Advanced coursework or specialized training in database administration, information systems, cloud technologies, or related disciplines Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs Experience managing enterprise-scale database environments Experience leading database migration, consolidation, or modernization projects Experience supporting high-availability database architectures and disaster recovery solutions Experience mentoring technical staff or leading database teams.
