<div>EGS is seeking a Demolition Superintendent in Pittsburgh, PA to support our international D&D client.  This is a 6 month contract opportunity that comes with top competitive rates and great benefits.  Must be US Citizen. </div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li><strong>Site Management:</strong> Directly responsible for the Demolition Crews means and methods of demolition operations in compliance with OSHA Safety & Health Parameters. Full-time, on-site supervision and hands-on involvement in daily operations from project inception to completion. </li><li><strong>Safety Leadership:</strong> As an OSHA Qualified Competent Person, the fulltime Onsite Demo Superintendent shall be a Point of Contact for Safety and Health issues while performing ADND's Scope of Work. Applicants must have a proven track record of incident-free management on large-scale demolition projects.</li><li><strong>Hazard Mitigation:</strong> Conduct environmental and safety assessments, JHA's/AHA's, implement work plans, and ensure strict adherence to EPA, OSHA, and contract-specific regulations. Complete the OSHA Pre-Demolition Engineering Survey.</li><li><strong>Environmental Remediation:</strong> Oversee abatement and remediation of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, PCBs, heavy metals, and CERCLA/RCRA-defined wastes.</li><li><strong>Radiological Demolition: </strong>Managing crews and work inside contamination areas (CA's), and high contamination areas (HCA's) with track record for open-air LLW demolitions at Department of Energy (DOE) facilities. Follow Radioactive Work Permits (RWP), Industrial Work Permits (IWP), and Hot Work Permits.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Supervise laborers, equipment operators, and environmental technicians. Preference given to candidates with access to reliable, safety-conscious crews</li></ul><br/><br/><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li>Minimum five years' experience </li><li>Demonstrate ability to manage demolition and remediation projects in high-risk environments for crews from four to fifty people.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational communication skills.</li><li>Self-starter, results-oriented with clear accountability standards tied to safety performance.</li><li>Familiarity with federal/state environmental and demolition regulations.</li><li>Able to provide accurate lookahead schedules along with manpower and equipment onsite to the Senior Officers/Project Manager/Client</li><li>Fluent in reading and speaking English and able to abide by the terms of the Contract and all Safety, Health and Environmental requirements of this project.</li><li>Provide listing of past and current Safety Training Courses & Certifications.</li><li>RTC - Read the Contract </li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Additional Info</strong></div><ul><li>Drug and alcohol screening is required.</li><li>Background check is required. </li><li>Compensation is negotiable based on experience.</li><li>This is a travel orientated position with trips home. </li><li>CAPM, PMP, EVMS certifications are a plus</li><li>National Demolition Association (NDA) Supervisor Certificate is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with estimating is a plus</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products is a plus (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar is a plus </li></ul>

<strong>Benefits:</strong><br/><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Bonus based on performance</li><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul><br/><strong>MITIGATION PROJECT MANAGER</strong><br/><br/><strong>What do Mitigation Project Managers do?</strong><br/><ul><li>Respond to all new mitigation losses</li><li>Perform initial call to new customers to gather appropriate information</li><li>Conduct initial inspections for all jobs you are assigned to and produce the appropriate scope of work</li><li>Scope for all structural mitigation work as well as contents mitigation work</li><li>Perform Matterport documentation and upload to the cloud</li><li>Use platforms depending on assignment such as MICA, Contents Track, RMS, etc…</li><li>Obtain signatures on all necessary documentation (work auths, lead booklets, contents disposal, hold harmless forms, etc…)</li><li>Determine the need for additional labor, subcontractor use, and/or the need for a contents packout on the job</li><li>Communicate with carriers via program guidelines and follow all necessary processes to obtain pre-approvals</li><li>Coordinate subcontractors and/or vendors on site with specifics of structural demolition, electrical work, plumbing work, hvac work, hazardous testing work, asbestos/lead abatement, dumpsters, pods, temporary services such as toilets, wash stations, and electric as well as specialty services such as art conservation</li><li>Communicate all scope information and changes to the Estimator for all preliminary and final estimate production</li><li>Present estimates to sell jobs and obtain necessary down payments when needed</li><li>Coordinate technicians to respond to all losses to secure the property and begin mitigation tasks</li><li>Ensure mitigation work is being done to our Paul Davis standard of performance and safety</li><li>Communicate with the customer on a regular basis.
