The ideal candidates will oversee and perform hazardous material abatement tasks, including asbestos, lead, and mold remediation, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. <br/>* This role would require a Lead Abatement Certificate</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate abatement activities, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.</li><li>Lead a team of abatement workers in the proper handling, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials.</li><li>Conduct site assessments to identify hazards and develop effective abatement plans and work practices.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and state-specific guidelines.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and safety procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any safety incidents.</li><li>Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.</li><li>Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety on the job site.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Lead Abatement Certificate.</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications preferred.</li><li>2+ years of experience in hazardous material abatement, including lead and asbestos removal.</li><li>Proven leadership skills and experience running a crew.</li><li>Strong knowledge of abatement equipment and safety protocols.</li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Current certification in asbestos abatement, lead abatement, and HAZWOPER is a plus.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p/><ul><li>Lead Abatement Certificate</li><li>Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.</li><li>Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all aspects of work.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Standard Benefits. </p>

In this role, you will operate various types of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure the successful completion of our construction and environmental projects. This position requires a strong emphasis on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, excavators, dump trucks, etc. for multiple project applications.</li><li>Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is safe and functional.</li><li>Excavate, grade, and level earth in preparation for construction using appropriate techniques.</li><li>Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals and radios for safe operations.</li><li>Maintain equipment by performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to minimize workplace hazards.</li><li>Support project completion by assisting with other tasks as assigned by the site supervisor.</li><li>Heavy construction experience and work site digging.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>At least 3-5 (Willing to pay more for 5-10 years) years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or a related field.</li><li>Proven knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operations.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Valid driver's license; certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.</li></ul><p>Join us at Essel and be part of a team dedicated to excellence in heavy construction and environmental services!</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Industry Standard Benefits </p>
