The position oversees the day-to-day operations and preventative maintenance of City facilities, coordinates with other divisions and departments, and works closely with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure City facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and capable of supporting the delivery of public services. This is a supervisory position whose work requires a high level of professional knowledge and technical proficiency in building and facility maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, preventative maintenance, facility operations, and related construction and improvement activities.
