As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care with compassion. You will assist the dentist, support the hygiene department and the administrative department, and comply with all sterilization and infection control protocol. Minimum skills include: dedication, efficiency, attention to detail, clear communication, organization, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has established experience as a Dental Assistant and is trained in Expanded Functions. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to a great patient experience, we want to hear from you! <br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities </strong><br/><ul><li>Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable</li><li>Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have</li><li>Take vital signs and accurately record medical history</li><li>Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments </li><li>Assist the dentist during procedures and exams</li><li>Make impressions (digital and analog), make temporary crowns, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, take radiographs</li><li>Schedule appointments, explain treatment plans</li><li>Track lab cases and manage inventory</li><li>Support clinical and administrative team members</li><li>Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies</li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/><ul><li>Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation</li><li>Minimum of 2 years chairside experience</li><li>Strong computer and data entry skills</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Efficient and organized</li><li>Ability to provide high-quality patient care</li></ul><br/>
