Assisting with Oral Surgery Procedures:-Prepare patients for Oral Surgery, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns they may have-Assist Oral Surgeons during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs and providing the necessary instruments and materials-Maintain a sterile environment during surgery, following strict infection control protocols-Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort level during surgery, ensuring their well-being at all times-Handle and dispose of surgical waste and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulationsPatient Support and Education:-Provide post-operative care instructions to patients, including oral hygiene practices, medication administration, and dietary restrictions- Answer patients’ questions and concerns, offering reassurance and empathy throughout their treatment process-Educate patients about oral health, prevention methods, and the importance of regular dental visits-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures, and progress. -High school diploma or equivalent required-Valid X-ray license is required-Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in Oral Surgery, is highly desirable-Discharge experience is highly preferred-Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instruments, and materials-Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail-Proficiency in dental software and computer literacyPerks of the Job:
