This part time dentist position is 1-2 days per week (Monday-Friday only; approx. 7:00am-3:00pm) based out of the Lafayette, IN area. • Designing daily mouth care plans and overseeing fluoride applications or
cleanings.

• Performing fillings, treating periodontal disease, extracting loose/decaying
teeth, and repairing or relining dentures.

• Prescribing necessary antibiotics or analgesics and coordinating with the
facility's medical staff regarding polypharmacy (managing dry mouth and side
effects of resident medications).

• Assessing resident oral health using standardized nursing facility assessment
tools to maintain regulatory compliance.

• Educating nursing and caregiving staff on how to safely and effectively
provide daily oral hygiene for residents with cognitive or physical decline.
