Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understanding of the principles of community health care and services to special populations Cultural competence required Basic Life Support certification Ability to travel between worksites as needed Excellent interpersonal skills, including friendliness, empathy, patience, kindness, politeness, and helpfulness Strong leadership and communication skills required Skilled in working with both children and adults Enjoys working in a busy, high-energy general dentistry practice Extensive knowledge of current dental health care needs and issues of children, adolescents, and adults Ability to collect adequate client data, conduct basic general dentistry, interpret oral findings, and manage or refer patients as conditions or protocol dictate. Physical demands: Travel is required between sites(s) by personal automobile or public transportation, reimbursed in accordance with ChesPenn Health Services reimbursement policy Frequent and prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking may be required Moderate physical effort with carrying forms, supplies and equipment Climbing stairs may be required Stooping and stretching may be required.
