Bachelor degree in engineering or technology, preferably mechanical or aerospace • General aviation-related experience in airframe mechanical drafting or design preferred • General knowledge of all phases of aircraft design, testing, approval, manufacturing, inspection, and service, materials, and material strengths, all manufacturing processes and techniques relative to fabrication and assembly, working knowledge of Siemens NX CAD, and familiarity with FAR 23 and certification are required to perform the duties of this position • Working knowledge of Windows-based computer programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Requires moderate physical effort, consisting of occasionally lifting and/or moving light to moderately heavy weight material up to 35 lbs.
