Power Apps Developer/Business AnalystThe Power Apps Developer/Business Analyst'sprimary role is to identify development opportunities.  They will scope, build, deploy and manage solutions to address specific business problems.  This position will also manage and support the company's projects and initiatives following our IT strategy.General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Develop and maintain custom solutions supporting our business units: Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Operations and Quality Assurance.</li><li>Understand corporate goals, strategies, philosophy, and profitability objectives. Work within and toward those objectives.</li><li>Obtain and maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's business systems and data sources/structures.</li><li>Compile and analyze data from internal systems in support of management decision making. Per requirements, deliver results as datasets, reports, and/or written summaries.</li><li>Collaborate with internal customers to proactively understand business system needs and develop processes and solutions around business systems.</li><li>Create data analysis/comparison reports.</li><li>Create and modify reports/apps as needed (Crystal Reports, Sage Report Designer, Power Apps and Power BI).</li><li>Provide process review, recommend, and implement improvements.</li><li>Stay current on IT trends and news.</li><li>Provide support as needed for end-user documentation and training.</li></ul>Skills and qualifications<ul><li>B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.</li><li>Minimum of five years in programming and application development experience.</li><li><ul><li>Including a minimum of at least two years using Power Apps</li></ul></li><li>Preferred 6+ years in programming and application development experience.</li><li><ul><li>Including 4+ years using Power Apps</li></ul></li><li>Development experience with, Crystal Reports, Web Forms, Power Automate, Power BI and/or other modern web technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Accounting and Unions preferred.</li><li>Experience developing SQL queries to join and analyze disparate data sources.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.</li><li>Strong systems-thinking ability.</li><li>Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with users in all departments and at all levels.</li><li>Organized thinking and excellent problem-solving with the ability to think "outside the box".</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to business problems and to articulate those clearly, both verbally and in written form.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work independently.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Periodic Travel to NY Offices required.</li><li>Ability to provide 24 hours per day and 7 days a week coverage.</li></ul>Compensation:The minimum and maximum annual salary that O'Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $79,000 to $105,000 annually.It is important to O'Connell Electric that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate. Compensation:
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base pay range for this position is $111,300 to $174,900 . Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
