Flexible spending accounts.  Life and Disability Insurance.  401K plan with employer match.  Paid time off.  PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:   <ul><li>Ensure the vehicle is fit for the road by performing and recording routine checks of lights, tires, oil, water, etc., reporting any defects, to maintain the safety of driver and goods.</li><li>Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely for optimum efficiency and safety.</li><li>Drive in accordance with the Highway Code regulations, and take responsibility for the vehicle, including security, and the completion of paperwork to provide a safe and efficient service.</li><li>Maintain a clean vehicle both inside and out to provide a clean environment for other users of the vehicle.</li><li>Deliver all orders in timely manner, and in full. Record any delivery exceptions.</li><li>Provide top-notch customer service, remembering that a delivery driver is the last face a customer sees and is a direct reflection of Tire Factory/Point S.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>2 to 3 years of delivery driving experience.</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Able to pass background check and drug screen.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be comfortable doing manual labor.</li><li>Consistent work history/strong work ethic.</li><li>Must be dependable and a team player.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li></ul> Physical Demands: <ul><li>Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.</li><li>Required to operate company vehicles.</li><li>Lift / carry by hand, freight weighing up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.</li><li>Push/pull products of excessive weight. </li><li>Work both independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Meet or exceed applicable efficiencies standards and expectations.</li><li>Driving for long periods of time.</li><li>Will work in extreme weather conditions (Heat or Cold).</li></ul>What you bring: <ul><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Organization skills required.</li><li>Ability to work under multi-task situations in various applications.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.</li><li>A sense of urgency for all tasks required.</li><li>May perform other assignments from time to time as directed by management.</li></ul>Experience: <ul><li>High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).</li><li>2-3 years distribution experience is preferred.</li><li>Industry knowledge and identification a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety compliance/requirements.</li><li>Basic computer skills/knowledge.</li></ul>Schedule: <ul><li>Day shift.  </li><li>Work Week: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Hours vary.</li><li>Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the distribution center supervisor/manager.</li><li>May be required to travel to Portland for meetings/events.
