Working as the Linen Distribution Manager, you are responsible for managing the hospital's laundry & linen program on-site at the healthcare facility to insure an adequate supply of clean linen for all user areas while professionally interacting with both the processing plant and hospital personnel and management as required.

Working as the Linen Distribution Manager, you are responsible for managing the hospital's laundry & linen program on-site at the healthcare facility to insure an adequate supply of clean linen for all user areas while professionally interacting with both the processing plant and hospital personnel and management as required.


	Key Responsibilities:


	
		Assigns duties as required and delegates distribution staff as necessary 
	
	
		Plans and schedules receiving, recording, distribution, and collection of work flow 
	
	
		Oversees housekeeping and general cleanliness of the linen room and associated work areas 
	
	
		Performs general and spot inspections as required of laundered articles to assure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO recommendations and requirements 
	
	
		Maintains records for department attendance, production efficiencies, linen tracking, etc. 
	
	
		Contacts departments in the hospital to obtain feedback and information regarding linen services 
	
	
		Participates in the central linen standardization committee as necessary 
	
	
		Interviews new employees and directs their orientation and training as required 
	
	
		Provides services as needed to departments with special requirements 
	
	
		Reports overuse, abuse, or misuse of linens, to include recommended actions to management and hospital contacts as necessary 
	
	
		Covers for distribution personnel as necessary due to absenteeism, vacation, sick, etc. in order to meet facility needs

The North America team is currently looking for a Team Leader on 1 st shift to join our Shipping department at the Taylorville, IL facility.The Team Leader provides hands-on, daily support to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe outbound operations. This role coordinates workflow, assigns tasks, assists with training, and serves as the first point of contact for hourly shipping staff during the shift. The Team Leader supports department goals related to productivity, quality, accuracy, safety, and ship complete on time performance. Your Impact Operational Leadership <ul><li> Coordinate and monitor daily shipping activities to meet production and delivery schedules. </li><li> Assign work to team members and adjust labor based on workload, staffing, and priority shipments. </li><li> Assist with resolving operational issues such as delays, order discrepancies, or inventory concerns. </li><li> Perform shipping tasks alongside the team, including picking, packing, staging, and loading. </li></ul>Quality & Accuracy <ul><li> Ensure all outbound orders meet company standards for accuracy, packaging, and documentation. </li><li> Verify that labeling, paperwork, and carrier requirements are completed correctly. </li><li> Support continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements. </li></ul>Safety & Compliance <ul><li> Promote and uphold a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety policies and procedures. </li><li> Conduct or assist with safety checks, equipment inspections, and incident reporting. </li><li> Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT requirements, and customer‑specific shipping guidelines. </li></ul>People Support <ul><li> Provide on‑the‑job training for new team members and cross-training for existing staff. </li><li> Offer coaching and real-time feedback to team members to support performance and skill development. </li></ul>Communication & Reporting <ul><li> Serve as the primary point of communication between hourly staff and supervisor/manager. </li><li> Provide updates on productivity, staffing needs, equipment issues, and workflow concerns. </li><li> Assist with tracking KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and on-time shipment metrics. </li></ul> Your Experience and Qualifications <ul><li>Prior experience in a shipping, warehouse, or distribution environment required.</li><li>Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and carrier requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability or previous lead experience.</li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed.</li><li>Basic computer skills (ERP, email, handheld scanners).</li><li>Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement practices.</li><li>Previous experience in a team lead or training role.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Attention to detail and problem‑solving</li><li>Ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment</li><li>Team‑oriented mindset</li><li>Reliability and strong work ethic</li></ul> Your Compensation and Benefits <ul><li> Expected total compensation for this role will be $27.38 to $34.52 per hour, depending upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills. </li><li> Up to 5% gainshare potential. </li><li> Benefits will include the ability to elect health care and wellness plans, dental and vision plans, 401(k) Savings Plan with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, health savings and flexible spending accounts, reimbursement for continuing education, life insurance, and other supplemental insurance plans. </li></ul> Your Workplace You will be working onsite role based in Taylorville, IL.While performing the duties of this job, the employee works with or near to moving trucks, trailers and fork trucks and near large machinery and equipment daily.
