Become a part of our growing, dynamic team and we'll help you develop your career to a level that will exceed your expectations.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day: Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles and product flow and transportation methods Specify material handling and storage equipment solutions Recognize and specify use of automation where justified Identify office equipment and facility up-fit requirements Create equipment and operating supply lists, and provide purchase requisitions Develop IT equipment (hardware and cabling) requirements based on activity levels and work content Establish tasks and processes required to complete proposed work contentWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience 2 years of engineering experience in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing or a related field Experience with Microsoft Office Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 production environment- Must relocate to Phoenix, AZ metroIt'd be great if you also have: APICS certification Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience Extensive experience in quality, engineering, lean manufacturing and work cell manufacturing; ability to identify best practices in a high-volume production environment Experience with analytical tools such as flowcharts, Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, etc. Project and resource management experienceWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains. Position Purpose:The purpose of the Warehouse role at SRS Building Products is to manage the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products within the warehouse and branch settings to effectively serve our business customers. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Efficiently receive, count, verify, and manually unload incoming orders and shipments, ensuring all materials are accurately logged and stored in compliance with company standards.</li><li>Execute accurate and timely loading of outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles, guaranteeing correct product handling, documentation, and adherence to delivery schedules.</li><li>Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, including general yard and office maintenance, while upholding workplace safety and operational excellence.</li><li>Manage inventory effectively by distributing materials to designated storage areas, conducting regular stock rotations, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged products for timely resolution.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative and productive work environment, embodying the company's "team-first" attitude and contributing to a culture of mutual success.</li><li>Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently, following all operational guidelines to support seamless warehouse logistics and distribution functions.</li></ul> Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:This role combines physical and office tasks in a warehouse. Responsibilities include lifting/moving up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Expect exposure to loud equipment, extreme weather, and airborne particles. Reasonable accommodation is available for individuals with disabilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Flexibility for extended hours during peak seasons is required. Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Forklift Operator certification.</li><li>Experience in high-volume distribution environments.</li><li>Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.</li><li>Familiar with industry-specific software applications.</li><li>Proficient in Spanish or another secondary language.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety.</li><li>Conducted safety audits and training sessions.</li><li>Adaptable to changing environments and challenges.</li><li>Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.</li><li>Effective time management and teamwork</li></ul> Minimum Education:High School diploma or equivalent.
