The Warehouse Associate performs tasks to ensure accurate and timely transactions by following department processes and procedures to safely operate equipment while handling material (i.e., loading and unloading of material) within a warehouse or storage facility, ensuring compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety, and security. Responsibilities<ul><li>Performs material handling duties and picks tickets to correctly pick and load orders</li><li>Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jack, hoists, conveyors, or handling equipment to move material to and from delivery transportation vehicles and within warehouse or storage facility</li><li>Ensures duties are performed per documented work instructions to ensure customer requirements are met</li><li>Identifies potential hazards in the workplace and takes action to eliminate/minimize risks to include communicating to management any product availabilty issues</li><li>Promotes safety awareness and immediately reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or unsafe equipment in the facility</li><li>Maintains a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required</li><li>Uses proper and appropriate forklift practices to safely, accurately, and efficiently unload material from trailers</li><li>Inspects pallets for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling according to specifications and removes trash, damaged pallets, and cardboard from the production areas as needed</li><li>Transitions with flexibility in the daily work schedule and areas as needed</li><li>Works with other warehouse employees to ensure positive employee relations within the team</li><li>Provides input to Warehouse Coordinator to develop and implement operational procedures</li><li>Performs daily forklift inspections per required criteria</li><li>Maintains functional knowledge of BOLs and receiving processes</li><li>Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job</li><li>Accurately performs responsibilities with a focus on efficiency and quality</li><li>Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after all processes</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required</li><li>Minimum 6 months of experience using material handling equipment and driving a forklift in a warehouse function; greater than one year of experience in a material handling role with forklift experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the material handling field required; extensive knowledge/experience preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform repetitive tasks with focus on instructions and safety</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Strong work ethic with proven ability to support a positive team environment</li><li>Ability to complete necessary training and follow safety policies, procedures, and processes</li><li>Ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work and sense of urgency</li><li>Ability to further develop computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite, email, and necessary reports</li><li>Ability to hold self accountable for areas of responsibility and for actions</li><li>Willingness and desire to perform responsibilities accurately and efficiently with a high level of customer service</li><li>Ability to work well with all levels of the organization in various areas of responsibility</li><li>Ability to successfully obtain a forklift certification (both written and practical tests)</li><li>Ability and willingness to cross train in other areas for back up coverage as needed</li><li>Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)</li></ul><h2>Company Description</h2>We are a customer-focused, integrated maintenance company operating projects throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. Supply Chain Manager- Logistics Country/Region: US Location: Gray Court, SC, US Req ID 86680 | Gray Court, United States ZF Transmissions Gray Court, LLC About the Position The Supply Chain Manager – Inbound Logistics is responsible for developing new strategies and maintaining and improving existing processes within the Inbound Logistics Department at ZF Transmissions Gray Court (ZFTG), a manufacturing plant with more than 1,000 employees. This role ensures the uninterrupted physical and system flow of raw materials, components, and services from both internal and external sources, as well as the timely and accurate exchange of related information across all involved organizations. What you can look forward to as the Supply Chain Manager- Inbound Logistics: + Manage inbound logistics operations, including goods receiving, warehousing, and internal distribution, in a high‑pace, complex manufacturing environment. + Develop and implement best‑in‑class warehousing practices that optimize time, space, safety, and efficiency to support high‑frequency internal distribution. + Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives through continuous improvement and data‑driven recommendations. + Evaluate, justify, and champion automation and material handling/storage equipment projects to improve material flow and reduce total operational costs. + Review and validate business cases, cost estimates, project calculations, and technical designs for logistics automation and material handling solutions. + Lead the development and execution of the material handling and storage equipment strategic roadmap. + Oversee the functionality, utilization, and continuous improvement of warehousing and distribution equipment, while supporting Agile and LEAN‑based logistics models. + Lead and develop the logistics team by providing resources, training, and equipment, and support ZFTG goals through planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities. Your Profile as Supply Chain Manager- Inbound Logistics: + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. + Strong computer skills are required: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Project, etc. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. + SAP knowledge and expert-level knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices in industry. + Minimum five (5) years supervisory/managerial experience. + Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field. + Extensive experience with contracts, sourcing, and in-depth knowledge of specialized methods and techniques. + Experience with plant operational interfaces and in-depth understanding of plant supply chain processes and procedures.
