The Planning and Distribution Manager is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing all activities related to distribution and logistics, including, but not limited to: Cheese and Whey shipping, inventory of finished goods production, purchasing of materials and packaging, inventory management, managing distribution and warehouse personnel, and managing external warehousing logistics and processes. Manage loads with shipping clerks to include manifest, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to define shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods.

Create and develop Standard Operating Procedures and training programs to ensure that the tasks are carried out with safety, quality, and productivity in mind.</li><li>Ensure staffing is appropriate and trained to function in each area for optimal and efficient receipt, shipment, transfer, and fulfillment of products.</li><li>Manage in coordination with the Plant Manager to develop processes related to shipping and inventory management.</li><li>Work with the appropriate people in other departments to manage all the quality-related requirements within the shipping/receiving process; implement process improvements as needed.</li><li>Oversee Inventory Management including inventory receipts through POs and batch processing, physical inventories, ordering packaging supplies and salt.</li><li>Compiles, analyzes and reports on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining and distributing inventories.</li><li>Direct implementation of objectives, goals and policies of direct and indirect reports.</li><li>Manage loads with shipping clerks to include manifest, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to define shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods.</li><li>Coordinate and direct sales orders with Custom and Whey sales.</li><li>Oversee and ensure GMPs are followed and the overall cleanliness of the warehouse is maintained.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring staff and all warehouse infrastructures are compliant with FDA/SQF/NSF regulations.</li></ul>The type of team player who fits with the team: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.</li><li>Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.</li><li>Minimum five (5) years of supply chain management experience required.</li><li>Supply Chain / APICS certification preferred.</li></ul>A role for those who know performance is built together.#LI-BB1</div>Agropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately pulled, prepared, received, shipped, and delivered while maintaining safety, efficiency, and high customer service standards. Associates in this role may work in the warehouse, assist with deliveries, and support daily operational needs assigned. <ul><li>Full-Time: </li><li>Store, Pull, stage, and organize furniture and merchandise accurately for customer orders and deliveries</li><li>Prepare furniture for delivery, including inspection, wrapping, padding, labeling, and general delivery prep</li><li>Assist as a delivery driver/helper on furniture delivery routes as needed, ensuring safe handling of products and professional customer interaction</li><li>Load and unload delivery trucks, vendor shipments, and transfer shipments safely and efficiently</li><li>Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking inbound freight, verifying quantities and condition, and documenting discrepancies</li><li>Stock, rotate, and organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure proper product flow and accessibility</li><li>Safely operate warehouse equipment such as standing lifts, dollies, carts, and hand tools</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards</li><li>Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy efforts</li><li>Collaborate with warehouse, delivery, sales, and management teams to support daily operations</li><li>Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and delivery operations</li></ul> Requirements/Qualifications: <ul><li>Prior warehouse, distribution, delivery, or furniture handling experience preferred but not required</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast paced, physical environment</li><li>Willingness to be flexible with assigned duties, including warehouse work and delivery assistance</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety</li><li>Reliable attendance and positive teamwork attitude</li><li>Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull furniture and heavy items in excess of 100 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)</li><li>A CDL is NOT required for this position</li></ul> Benefits: What’s in It for You?
