Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on water lines.</li><li>Installing water taps.</li><li>Handling emergency and routine repairs.</li><li>Conducting fire hydrant flushing and maintenance.</li><li>Locating, maintaining, and repairing water lines.</li><li>Completing work and service orders.</li><li>Connecting and disconnecting services.</li></ul>Ideal Candidate:Seeking a motivated individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. While a Water Distribution Certification is preferred, this client is willing to consider bringing on a trainee! Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution, support order fulfillment, and uphold high standards of safety and organization. This position offers an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate forklifts, slipsheet, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse</li><li>Manage inbound shipments by verifying deliveries against shipping documents using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)</li><li>Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, and staging orders accurately for dispatch</li><li>Utilize warehouse distribution systems such as AS400 and MRP software to track inventory levels and update stock records</li><li>Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring proper organization for easy access and inventory control</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of equipment and storage areas to maintain safety standards and prevent accidents</li><li>Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to support accurate stock management</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience operating forklifts, slip sheet, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a warehouse environment</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory software such as AS400 or MRP systems</li><li>Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures within a distribution or e-commerce setting</li><li>Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and packing processes</li><li>Prior experience with order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, and load & unload operations preferred</li><li>Warehouse experience involving order picking & packing to ensure accurate delivery timelines</li></ul>Join us in a fast-paced environment where your skills keep our supply chain moving smoothly!
