When travel outside of the New York area is required, it is typically less than 2 weeks in duration Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) Possess DBIDS card or eligibility to successfully pass background check to secure Department of Defense DBIDS card and other badges required by clients preferred Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen Administration certification preferred Selected candidate must consent to and pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171. Working Conditions: The incumbent works in both the office and field: Office work requires ongoing design work requiring focus Field work requires diving in waters and exposure to extreme elements Must be able to move among a variety of simultaneous priorities Some extended days, evenings, and weekend work requirements Physical requirements: This role requires the incumbent to be in excellent physical condition: Commercial diving requires specific physical conditioning and strength Field work requires incumbent to carry heavy equipment over unpaved, rural, and unmarked terrain The incumbent must be able to lift, carry, climb, and navigate in a small boat.
