Current, unrestricted North Carolina license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner; Board certification from either American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP); Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The Nurse Practitioner performs physical assessments and cognitive evaluations, diagnoses and manages acute and chronic health conditions, prescribes medications and develops individualized treatment plans, and provides guidance on preventive care, nutrition, mobility, and fall prevention to all participants.
