<b> Job Summary and Responsibilities </b><br/><h2> We are seeking an experienced primary care phsyician to join our amazing team </h2><h2> LOCATION: Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada (DHMGN) clinic, North Las Vegas, NV </h2><h2> JOB SUMMARY: </h2><h2> Dignity Health Medical Group NV and St. Rose Internal Medicine Residency program seeks a primary care physician for its Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic. This role involves direct patient care, ambulatory teaching, and clinical leadership. </h2><h2> RESPONSIBILITIES: </h2><p/><p> Clinical Leadership & Direct Patient Care: </p><p/><ul><li> Maintain an independent primary care practice, providing comprehensive direct patient care to a panel of general internal medicine patients within the clinic setting. </li><li> Actively participate in departmental and organizational initiatives aimed at standardizing equitable whole person care and improving health outcomes. </li></ul><p/><p> Ambulatory Teaching & Resident Supervision: </p><p/><ul><li> Provide ambulatory teaching and preceptorship to internal medicine residents and medical students, fostering their clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, and patient management abilities. </li><li> Assume direct supervisory responsibility for internal medicine residents and medical students during their clinical rotations. </li><li> Guide residents in the development and execution of ambulatory-based quality improvement projects, promoting a culture of continuous learning and data-driven improvements.. </li></ul><p/><p> Programmatic & Institutional Contribution: </p><p/><ul><li> Serve as a role model for professionalism and integrate CommonSpirit Health's mission and values into all aspects of clinical practice, teaching, and leadership. </li></ul><p>#HEC </p><b> Job Requirements </b><br/><h2> Education & Certification: </h2><p/><ul><li> MD or DO Degree from an accredited institution. </li><li> Active Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. </li><li> Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in internal medicine or family medicine. </li></ul><h2> Licensure: </h2><p/><ul><li> Must hold or be eligible for Nevada State medical licensure. </li></ul><h2> Experience: </h2><p/><ul><li> Two (2) years of ambulatory general internal medicine or family medicine experience preferred </li><li> New or upcoming graduates of a PGY4 IM Chief Residency or ambulatory focused fellowship (such as geriatrics, addiction medicine or palliative care) are encouraged to apply </li></ul>
