<h3>Description</h3><br/><div><strong>CPH </strong>is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.</div><div><em><br/></em><strong>We have an opening for the following position: </strong></div><ul><li><em>Senior Project Designer - Land Development </em></li><li><em>Location - Panama City, FL </em></li></ul><div>The <strong>Senior Project Designer </strong>plays an essential role in supporting a wide range of projects! This is a <em>very exciting opportunity</em> for a senior-level candidate with a very strong design skill set in tools such as <strong>AutoCAD </strong>and <strong>Civil3D</strong>. This individual must be detail-oriented and possess a collaborative working approach to join a dynamic team at <strong>CPH. </strong><br/> <br/><strong>Position Overview:<br/></strong><br/>Our <strong>Senior Project Designer - Land Development</strong> will work in alignment with the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer to support final delivery of key client deliverables for large commercial developments. <strong><em>The primary focus of this position will involve exercising expertise in heavy grading, utility layout and design. </em></strong></div><br/><h3>What You'll Do:</h3><br/><ul><li>Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD.</li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.</li><li>Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.</li><li>Implement and utilize established CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.</li><li>Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data necessary for land development civil engineering designs.</li><li>Travel periodically to perform site investigations, take measurements, and observe construction progress, followed by the preparation of detailed reports and exhibits.</li><li>Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines and ensure timely submission to agencies with jurisdiction.</li><li>Focuses on developing detailed technical drawings and designs, calculating material quantities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.  </li><li>Works closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br/><h3>What You'll Need:</h3><br/><ul><li>*<em>Expert-level skills in in AutoCAD, Civil 3D</em>, Adobe Suite software’s and drafting techniques are a <strong>MUST</strong>. </li><li>*<strong><em>Advanced-level experience grading, utility layout and design.</em></strong></li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.</li><li>Experience in Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a <strong>plus</strong>.</li><li>Adaptable and receptive to instruction from others.</li><li>Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team</li><li>Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.</li><li>Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.</li><li>Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.</li><li>Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record</li></ul><div><strong>Education and Experience: </strong></div><ul><li>Associate’s Degree or Computer - Aided Design Certificate</li></ul><br/><h3>Compensation & Benefits:</h3><br/><ul><li>Dependent upon experience.</li><li>CPH offers Medical, Dental and Vision and Long-Term Disability with a quality insurance company.</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.</li><li>401K, Paid Personal Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Paternal Leave.</li></ul><div>CPH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Free Work Environment Employer.</div>
