<p>Project Engineer </p><p>Engineers Construction, Inc. in Williston, VT has an opening for a Project Engineer specializing in all aspects of civil construction. We are looking for entry level, mid level, and experienced project engineers.</p><p>Applicant should have desire to help in managing projects involving earthwork, utilities, bridge construction, road construction, and concrete. Experience in heavy-civil and specialty markets is a plus. Education should include a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Duties will include estimating, planning, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, crew coordination, oversite of project execution, assisting in building the work, and interfacing with the client.</p><p>Applicants should have the ability to operate in both the office and the field. ECI self-performs the majority of our contracts - field experience is essential for this role. The applicant must be proficient in all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and Autocad drafting and Bluebeam experience is a plus. The applicant must have strong attention to detail, be a good communicator, and be a relentless problem solver. The applicant should also be organized, neat, and professional, possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. </p><ul><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><strong>Location: </strong>Williston, VT with possible extended assignments throughout Vermont or other states. </li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><strong>Rate of Pay:</strong> $27.00 - $38.00 / Hour.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px"><strong>Benefits: </strong>Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP); Vision, Health & Dental Insurance; 401(k) Retirement Plans with Safe Harbor contributions and Profit Sharing; Life Insurance; Paid Vacation and Holidays; and more. If you enjoy solving complex production challenges, mentoring teams, and improving design workflows, we’d love to connect with you.</div><br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br/><ul><li>Develop, test, implement, and administer firmwide AutoCAD scripts, workflows, standards, and processes </li><li> Coordinate testing and deployment of CAD tools and scripts alongside software upgrades and IT initiatives </li><li> Lead and facilitate firmwide CAD coordination meetings and collaboration efforts </li><li> Provide ongoing AutoCAD and Civil 3D training and technical support to staff across the organization </li><li> Partner with subject matter experts to improve workflows for additional platforms including Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads, BIM, and GIS </li><li> Troubleshoot advanced CAD/BIM production issues and coordinate solutions with IT and software partners </li><li> Maintain and improve documentation for standards, procedures, and workflows while ensuring consistency across teams </li><li> Support project teams with setup, file organization, and production best practices </li><li> Help drive continuous improvement initiatives related to design technology, production efficiency, and quality standards</li></ul><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><br/><ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred </li><li> 10+ years of CAD/BIM design or management experience within an engineering, architecture, or consulting environment </li><li> 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred </li><li> Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D </li><li> Experience developing CAD standards, templates, scripts, and workflows </li><li> Working knowledge of BIM platforms, MicroStation, OpenRoads, Revit, and GIS tools is a plus </li><li> Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills </li><li> Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple offices and disciplines</li><li>Ability to travel approximately 30% of the week to various Fuss & O'Neill offices</li></ul><div><br/>This is a <strong>hybrid role</strong>, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
