This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex problems, and working directly with customers in the field. The Midstream Field Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Midstream systems and related process equipment with a focus on electrical, automation, and mechanical components </p><div><div id="jobDesc-row"><div><p>Location: This is a <strong>remote position </strong>with travel within the Utica/Marcellus shale region in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. </p><p/><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, commission, and maintain midstream systems such as dehydration, gas filtration, separation, and BTEX mitigation systems and any associated process equipment in the field.</li><li>Work with customers to sell parts, troubleshooting, and any other field service T&M work.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, automation, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.</li><li>Perform routine inspections, calibrations, sampling, cleanouts, filter changeouts and other preventive maintenance tasks.</li><li>Work with control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation to ensure proper automation function.</li><li>Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, efficiently, and professionally with clients on job progress and findings.</li><li>Document service activities, field reports, and maintenance records accurately and promptly.</li><li>Support engineering and operations teams with field feedback to improve product performance and reliability.</li><li>Travel regularly to customer sites, often in remote or industrial environments.</li></ul></div></div></div><div><h2>Qualifications</h2></div><div><div id="jobQualifications-row"><div><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation skills.</li><li>Experience: 7+ years in field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment operations (experience with dehydration, gas processing, or similar systems preferred).</li><li>Education: Technical diploma, associate’s degree, or equivalent work experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation disciplines.</li><li>Knowledge of:<ul><li>PLCs, control panels, and instrumentation.</li><li>Basic process flow knowledge on Pumps, valves, heaters, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting and low-voltage control systems.</li></ul></li><li>Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and a customer-centric mindset.</li><li>Other Requirements:<ul><li>Willingness to travel (up to 70% of the time).</li><li>Ability to work independently and safely in field environments.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.</li></ul></li></ul><p/><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with midstream related natural gas processing systems. </li><li>Compression and combustion experience a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with SCADA or remote monitoring systems.</li><li>Safety certifications (OSHA, H2S, First Aid, etc.).</li></ul></div></div></div>

What You'll Do:
<p style="margin:0px">The Director of Oil & Gas is responsible for leading ECS's strategy and growth across the oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream markets and related energy infrastructure.  This role drives client development, national account growth, and cross-subsidiary collaboration to expand ECS's presence in oil and gas markets. Chantilly, VA is the preferred location however, this is a National opportunity and the ideal candidate can be located in any region with established ECS operations (Mid-Atlantic, Southwest, Southeast, Florida). </p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px"><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Direct the development and execution of strategies to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities within the oil and gas sector to build long-term client relationships.</li><li>Provide strategic leadership on oil and gas market trends, including exploration and production, pipelines and gathering systems, LNG facilities, refining, petrochemical complexes, and supporting infrastructure.</li><li>Build and manage a portfolio of national oil and gas clients, targeting significant annual revenue growth across ECS subsidiaries.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities, emerging technologies, and geographic markets relevant to oil and gas infrastructure.</li><li>Lead capture planning and proposal strategies for major oil and gas pursuits, coordinating resources across ECS offices and service lines.</li><li>Collaborate with subsidiary leadership to cross-sell ECS service lines, including geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and facilities services, to support oil and gas projects</li><li>Serve as a strategic resource for offices pursuing oil and gas work, providing guidance on client engagement, contracting strategies, and risk management.</li><li>Mentor national account managers, project leaders, and technical staff involved in oil and gas pursuits.</li><li>Support the development of a consistent national business development process for oil and gas opportunities across ECS.</li><li>Hire and develop specialized personnel or subject matter experts as needed to support growth in the sector.</li><li>Represent ECS in industry organizations, conferences, and client forums related to oil and gas and energy infrastructure.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

What We're Looking For:
<p style="margin:0px"><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>15+ years of experience in oil and gas consulting, engineering, account management, or infrastructure development.</li><li>BS/BA degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, business or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.  <ul><li>MS preferred.</li></ul></li><li>If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required. </li><li>Demonstrated success developing client relationships across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas markets, including LNG, pipelines, refining and petrochemical facilities.</li><li>Broad understanding of services commonly required for oil and gas projects including geotechnical engineering, environmental services, construction materials testing, and facilities consulting.</li><li>Proven ability to develop and expand high-value client relationships and national accounts.</li><li>Strong understanding of oil and gas project delivery methods and procurement processes.</li><li>Experience negotiating contracts and managing associated risk with support from corporate counsel.</li><li>Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams across multiple offices and geographic regions.</li><li>Strategic mindset with the ability to identify emerging markets opportunities and position ECS accordingly.</li></ul>
