The Driller is responsible for drilling the well within the parameters specified by the operator and maintaining control of the well at all times.Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Direct rig crew in setting up rigs and drilling, completing or servicing oil and gas exploration and producing wells.</li><li>Operate controls of drill or service rig drilling and hoisting machinery.</li><li>Train or arrange for training of crew.</li><li>Maintain records of footage drilled, location and nature of strata penetrated, materials and tools used, services rendered, and time required.</li><li>Monitor progress of drilling operations, and select and change drill bits according to the nature of strata, using hand tools.</li><li>Ensure safety procedures are followed.</li><li>Assemble and attach equipment, tools or recorders to drill stem or wireline to conduct required procedures and tests.</li><li>Operate or direct the operation of wireline or unit controls to lower, position and retrieve equipment and instruments.</li><li>All jobs must comply with Wyoming Casing standards from sale to completion.</li><li>Reports directly to the Drilling Operations and Rig Manager any and all concerns that will affect the efficiency or integrity of any contract job the corporation is involved in.</li><li>Any and all tasks assigned by Management.</li></ul> #hc60820

Job Purpose The R&M Technician role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilizes Weatherford's facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. The role applies techniques and practices to complete the scope of tasks covering inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools, preparing them for their next assignment. Tasks will span the entire process from receiving the tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing using technical manuals, procedures, and technical work instructions. While this is a generic job description covering the different levels of the R&M Technician position, all aspects of the roles and responsibilities are relevant. More senior roles lead and oversee tasks carried out by other R&M employees.Roles & Responsibilities• Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools • Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in a presentable and safe working condition • Repairs machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. • Follows maintenance processes & procedures to undertake the following: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation as required against their level of training & competence • Initiates, updates, closes out AIRTs, PFTs, forms, checklists, and work orders during maintenance of equipment and assets, following the necessary maintenance processes and procedures against their level of training & competence • Complies with the WO labor time log by accurately clocking in/Out of the WO (Work Order) Time tracking system • Utilizes all tools and lifting equipment for opening and closing crates & containers and uses pallet and forklift trucks for the safe movement of equipment to and from vehicles, storage areas, racks, shelves, and bins against their level of training & competence. Must be certified for the use of lifting equipment, including forklift trucks and cranes • Accepts incoming shipments and prepares shipments for dispatch, validating quantities and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complies with all Company procedures against their level of training & competence • In senior positions, the employee will often lead the team in undertaking all the assignments detailed above. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing corrective actions, and providing access to all relative R&M documented policies, procedures, work instructions, and technical manuals allowing the R&M team to complete their work effectively and efficiently • Senior roles will ensure all field and workshop personnel follow the corrective and preventative maintenance procedures, ensuring all failures are followed up to closure with a proper root cause analysis and with the implementation of predetermined corrective action(s) • Senior roles might lead the workshop, defining and distributing the work assignment schedules while evaluating the quality, proficiency, and efficiency of the works being carried out through performing regular inspections to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures • Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or approved suppliers according to Weatherford's guidelines and procedures • Supports and complies with the LEAN initiatives and participates in the continuous efficiency improvement program of the facility. • Performs other duties and activities safely as assigned by supervisor within physical constraints of the job • Where required, will report all equipment failures and troubleshooting requirements to the R&M ManagementExperience & EducationREQUIRED • 4-6+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry. • High School Diploma • Basic Computer SkillsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED • Basic Mathematics • Working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements & explosives. Awareness of NDT, NDE and ATEX policies & principles • More senior roles require the ability to diagnose issues and problems with tools/equipment • Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, monitoring of equipment • Critical thinking, active learning & listening, complex problem solving • Good reading and writing skills, strong judgement and decision-making to be in line with policies & procedures • Time management • Quality Control Analysis to ensure product meets required standards • Capable to meet the physical demands that the role requires • Information & task ordering & ability to identify when a problem may occur and where possible to understand solution • Ability to react effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery • Ability to imagine how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair or modificationsTravel Requirement: This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%
