Responsibilities:
As a Directional Drill Operator/Locator, you will support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.   In addition, you will: <ul><li>Locate a Horizontal Directional Driller for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable</li><li>Operate a horizontal directional bore in collaboration with the Drill Locator to successfully install coax and fiber systems </li><li>Ensure the safety of the public and other underground utility facilities </li><li>Read utility locates and coordinates the daylighting of these facilities </li><li>Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day </li></ul>

This role is responsible for leading site-level safety initiatives, supporting security programs, and providing technical expertise in occupational health and industrial hygiene to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Overview:
 We are seeking a motived EHS Supervisor to support our Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and Gas-to-Electric (GTE) facilities. This role is responsible for leading site-level safety initiatives, supporting security programs, and providing technical expertise in occupational health and industrial hygiene to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulations, goals, policies, and procedures.  Provide advice and guidance on interpretation/application of regulations and internal procedures related to Health & Safety. Must possess a strong understanding of federal and applicable state OSHA regulations</li><li>Develop initiatives to improve safety culture within the CO2 business unit.  Drive the development and continuous improvement of Safety issues and initiatives</li><li>Provide a visible presence at facilities within the business unit and respond to concerns raised by employees</li><li>Maintain required EHS metrics for internal and external reporting and ensure EHS systems and applications accurately reflect performance</li><li>Coordinate safety and health required training programs, serving as a subject matter expert on training requirements, frequency, and content</li><li>Deliver instructor led and hands-on trainings</li><li>Act as a liaison with regulatory and government agencies, coordinating communications, inspections, permitting, and reporting to ensure operational continuity and compliance</li><li>Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions</li><li>Coordinate emergency response and security drills and exercises, including training</li><li>Respond to incidents, as required</li><li>Participate in internal audits and follow up actions</li><li>Represent the business unit in various corporate work groups</li><li>Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety and the safety of people, environment, and company assets</li><li>Collaborate with Operations Support Group (OSG) to achieve compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and internal requirements</li><li>Assist in continued implementation of and adherence to the Company’s EHS Management Plan</li><li>Support operations with compliance of applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements</li><li>Facilitate Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR)</li><li>Promote Behavior Based Safety principles</li><li>Lead development and enhancement of compliance review policies and procedures</li><li>Provide support for DOT CDL operations regarding compliance, inspections, etc.</li><li>Provide support for operations with damage prevention activities per Kinder Morgan procedures/policies</li><li>Will carry a company-provided cell phone/pager and respond during working and non-working hours</li><li>Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned</li></ul>*Travel required to provide support to assets across the Mid-West with a Central location of Indianapolis, IN

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred</li><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental, health, and/or safety for oil and LNG/natural gas production operations, or 10 years of experience in oil and gas production operations</li></ul>Certifications, Licenses, or Registrations<ul><li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Company insurability requirements.</li><li>OSHA certification desired</li></ul>Competencies, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Proficient computer skills and use of applicable computer applications such as MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Accurately and promptly loads and verifies data and generates reports based on standard procedures</li><li>Demonstrates a highly competent working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of the job function</li><li>Ability to apply extensive knowledge and experience to a wide variety of situations and recommend solutions and improvements</li><li>Typically viewed as a technical expert and/or leader in safety</li><li>Works independently to perform more complex analysis</li><li>Monitors new technologies and draws upon expertise to make recommendations for further exploitation of existing technologies</li><li>Mentors and trains less experienced EHS specialists/technicians and/or other co-workers.</li><li>Generates and completes efficiency/improvement projects</li><li>Ability to work with others, take direction from supervisor(s), focus attention on details, and follow work rules</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Climbing and walking</li><li>Driving company vehicle</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs</li><li>Wear required personal protective equipment</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Combination of field, plant, and office-based work locations</li><li>Working after hours, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call as needed</li><li>Day and overnight trips to assets as required</li></ul>Above minimum requirements.  Not necessary but advantageous for the position<ul><li>College degree or OSHA Certification</li><li>Prior supervisory experience managing direct reports</li><li>7+ years of EHS experience in LNG or natural gas</li><li>10+ years oil/gas experience in operations</li></ul>
