Skills & Requirements: High school diploma or GED REQUIRED 2+years of structural assembly experience - sheet metal - assembly - fabrication Ability to work from heights for prolonged periods of time Ability to walk stairs/climb ladders for prolonged periods of time Able to read and interpret blueprints Able to perform basic math functions and use math formulas by solving dimensional problems Must be capable of performing tasks that frequently require lifting, reaching, bending, walking, pulling, sitting, standing, crouching, stooping, and kneeling for prolonged periods of time Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Duties & Responsibilities: Set and operate fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal, shaping metal Perform inspections of all fabricated pieces to ensure parts meet engineered drawing specifications Utilize calipers, heights gages, and other measuring equipment as needed to meet drawing specifications Operate hand tools such as drill presses, grinders, orbital sanders, etc.
