Oversees direct technical support during operative procedures, and shall understand and assist with the following: Anesthetic Delivery Systems, Airway Management Equipment, including fiberoptic, Cardiovascular (ECG, Arterial pressure, Central Venous pressure, Pulmonary Artery pressure) monitoring, Central nervous system (ICP, NIRS technology) monitoring, Respiratory physiologic monitors (Capnography, Pulse oximetry and Blood gas analyzers), Digital and mechanical infusion pumps, Peripheral nerve stimulators, Temperature monitors, fluid/blood warmers, and Point of Care Ultrasound equipment. Major Responsibilities: Assures the efficient daily operation of the department including appropriate staffing, appropriate use of supplies, workflow, and productivity to meet patient needs and manage budget.
