Upon completion of training, employees will have been onboarded at UVA, completed safety and security training and basic computer skills instruction, and have the necessary workplace and customer service skills to serve as a FlexRide or Ride driver for UVA Transit. The HOOS Driving Training Program, a partnership with UVA Pipelines & Pathways, provides structured coursework and paid on-the-job training as a full-time, benefited FlexRide or Ride Driver with UVA Transit at the University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation.
