Purpose Statement: The purpose of this position is to support our district's special education program which provides services to students with a variety of disabilities ranging from severe to profound in the areas of speech, motor, social, academic, and cognitive skills. Responsibilities vary with the individual assignment, but typically include instruction of students, monitor student behavior, student hygiene, classroom housekeeping, and preparation of materials, testing, and data collection/reporting.
