Those students are spread out among our six campuses: McCord Elementary (Pre-K, Kinder, 1st); Vernon Elementary (2nd through 5th); Vernon Middle School (6th through 8th); Vernon High School (9th through 12th); Wichita Falls State Hospital Primary Program; and Vernon State Hospital Adolescent Forensic Program. While we operate on a five-day work schedule, we have Early Release Fridays spread out throughout the year to offer our teachers a "no students" block of time to complete tasks and prepare lesson plans.
