In addition to teaching their assigned courses and holding weekly office hours, Quest instructors are expected to engage in service, including serving on faculty and university committees, attending Quest faculty meetings and events, working with Quest students in Quest Leadership Intern roles, working with the integrated partners assigned to their courses, engaging in professional development activities, and other program service. The mission of Quest is to support student success by helping students successfully transition to the University, learn skills and tools necessary for success in higher education, build a sense of belonging at the University of Utah with connections across campus, and move students on the path of major declaration and degree pathway confirmation.
