Hocking Hills State Park is about 30 miles southeast of Lancaster and offers hiking, rock formations, and waterfalls, while downtown Columbus is about 35 miles northwest with museums, dining, and major event venues. The area also includes the Fairfield County Fairgrounds, known for one of Ohio’s longstanding county fairs, and U.S. Route 33 provides a direct regional connection for travel between Lancaster and Columbus.
