Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and process equipment, including pumps, mechanical seals, compressors, vacuum systems, motors, gearboxes, valves, piping systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, fans, blowers, filters, utility systems, agitators, and mixers. The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Mechanic is to support the site's mechanical maintenance and reliability needs through the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of laboratory and pilot-scale process equipment in a safe, timely, and craftsman-like manner.
