Installing, trouble shooting and repairing of controls system (Dicam, Airstream, ChoreTime) and other electrical components.

From family members to team members, to even our pigs we believe in treating others with respect and as part of our family.Job Description:<ul><li style="color:#222222;line-height:13.8pt;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">This is a position for an electrician that is highly involved with all controls that keep our farms safe.</li><li style="line-height:13.8pt;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Journeyman license desired but position offers an apprentice program for achieving a Journeyman license.</li><li style="line-height:13.8pt;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Daily responsibilities will include pulling wire, terminating, troubleshooting, etc.</li><li style="line-height:13.8pt;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Perform electrical preventative maintenance at farm sites to insure continued equipment operation without emergency breakdowns or failures </li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Trouble shoot and repair electrical and controls on all swine facility systems</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Run conduit, pull wires, and terminate circuitry for facility remodeling or addition of equipment</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Installing, trouble shooting and repairing of controls system (Dicam, Airstream, ChoreTime) and other electrical components. </li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Install, troubleshoot, and repair Hawk alarm systems</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Install, troubleshoot and repair BinTrac feed inventory system</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Repair or replace utility disconnects, transfer switches and distribution panels.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Perform troubleshooting and repairs to propane heating systems.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Perform general troubleshooting and repair to electrical generators.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Help with general electrical work and other technicians as needed.</li></ul></li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Basic knowledge of electrical components including breakers, relays, switches, and control devices.</li><li style="line-height:11.5pt;background:#ffffff">Ability to safely operate power tools, including saws, drills, etc</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Maintenance and mechanical skills also a plus.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Must have the drive and willingness to learn technical items related to the electrical field.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a timely manner.</li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Ability to work well in urgent situations and find solutions.</li></ul><ul><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff;vertical-align:baseline">Comply with all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.</li></ul>
