Assembler Location: Near Ballston Spa, NY Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp-To-Hire | Full-Time | Onsite Position OverviewOur growing manufacturing client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to support production of their products. This role is responsible for assembling components, following technical instructions, and ensuring finished products meet quality and customer specifications. This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building products, and contributing to a team-focused production environment. Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Production<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Assemble fixtures and related components following established manufacturing procedures </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Interpret work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings to complete builds accurately </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Plan and organize daily tasks to meet production schedules and deadlines </li></ul> Quality Control<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Identify defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action as needed </li></ul> Work Environment & Organization<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and production area </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely </li></ul> Inventory & Materials<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Track and maintain inventory of assigned materials and components </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Assist with organizing parts and supplies for production runs </li></ul> Team Collaboration & Improvement<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Work both independently and collaboratively with production team members </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency </li></ul> Qualifications<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Electrical or electronic assembly experience preferred </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Good organizational and time-management skills </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and components </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team </li></ul> Preferred:<ul style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in"><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Experience working within an ISO or quality management system </li><li style="margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:'aptos' , sans-serif">Familiarity with production processes and assembly line environments</li></ul> To see a full listing of all our open positions, please visit:  https://www.redshiftrecruiting.com/jobs-hiring-near-me redShift Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
